The old and inefficient way
This is nothing new. You already know that your equipment being used in a warehouse, distribution center or manufacturing facility needs to be mechanically sound. When a problem erupts with your brakes, battery, or fuel line, this can cause serious injuries or damage to the facility.
You have a checklist in place. But it’s on paper. Each model of forklift has a separate checklist. Is the operator using the right form? Is the detailed inspection being filled out? Were there defective parts? Was maintenance called in to repair it? When?
