Our Story

We Got Started Because We Want to Free Industrial Workers from Repetitive and Dangerous Work.

Our journey started in 2017 with a small grant from the United States National Science Foundation (NSF). We used that humble grant to conduct a months-long study into the industrial mobility market. As you can imagine, our study was both an eye-opener and a shocker! Industry statistics showed us a staggering $30B+ spent in the US each year on forklift accident costs with almost 100 deaths and 36,000 serious accidents. On top of that, there is a massive 43,000+ shortage of skilled equipment operators. Worker shortages and growing productivity pressures from e-commerce are forcing industrial workers into unsafe and extremely stressful working conditions. On the other hand, competition from technologically advanced giants like Amazon is threatening traditional business models.
