Limited Warranty

Devices

(a) SIERA.AI hereby warrants solely to Customer that the Devices will not contain any defects in material or workmanship that cause such Device to fail to function in any material respect when properly operated (the “Device Warranty”) for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of purchase (the “Warranty Period”) by Customer. (b) Customer’s sole remedy for a breach of the Device Warranty shall be the repair or replacement of the of the non-functioning Device. Customer shall obtain from SIERA.AI a Return Merchandise Authorization (“RMA”) number before returning any such Device (as described below under How to Make a Claim Under this Limited Warranty). (c) If such Device is not functioning within the scope of the Device Warranty, SIERA.AI shall, at SIERA.AI’s sole option (i) to repair or replace such Device within forty-five (45) business days of SIERA.AI’s receipt thereof or (ii) use reasonable commercial efforts to provide Customer with a correction or workaround of the defect. (d) The Device that was repaired or replaced under the Device Warranty is guaranteed for ninety (90) days from the repair or replacement date, or the remainder of the Warranty Period, whichever is longer. (e) In the event that SIERA.AI determines, using customary testing procedures, that the returned Device is functioning within the scope of the Device Warranty, then SIERA.AI shall not be responsible for the repair or replacement of such Device and Customer shall be responsible for the shipping costs of the return of such Device to Customer or its designee. (f) Notwithstanding any of the foregoing, the Device Warranty does not extend to (i) non-conformities, defects or errors in the Device due to accident, abuse, misuse or negligent use of the Devices or use in other than a normal and customary manner, (ii) environmental conditions not conforming to the Device specification, or failure to follow prescribed installation, operating and maintenance procedures, (iii) lightning, power surges, or other acts of nature, (iv) equipment enclosures, cables or accessories used in conjunction with this Device, (v) exposure to excess moisture, (vi) fire, (vii) improper packing and shipping (such claims must be presented to the carrier), (viii) defects, errors or nonconformity’s in the Device due to modifications, alterations, additions or changes not made by SIERA.AI or authorized by SIERA.AI in writing, (ix) normal wear and tear, (x) damage caused by force of nature or act of any third person, or (xi) service or repair of the Device not made by SIERA.AI or authorized by SIERA.AI in writing.

How to Make a Claim Under this Limited Warranty

To make a claim under this Limited Warranty, contact SIERA.AI by email or telephone in accordance with Technical Support below with the following information:
  • Device name and model
  • Device serial number
  • Original purchase date with original receipt
  • Name of contact person for description of symptoms
  • A description of the failure to function and other reasonable information to enable verification of the failure and return of the nonconforming Device to SIERA.AI’s designated facility
  • Return shipping address and any special instructions

If it is determined that the Device must be returned under this Limited Warranty, an RMA number, obtained from SIERA.AI, will be required. Any returned Device must be properly packed to prevent damage in transit. Boxes not bearing an RMA number will require additional processing time and repair service may be delayed. Customer shall be responsible for all shipping costs to SIERA.AI’s designated facility.

SIERA.AI will provide Device technical support on the Devices in accordance with this Limited Warranty. SIERA.AI’s technical support personnel can be contacted by email at support@siera.ai and by phone at 512-817-0702. Support hours are 9:00 am to 6:00 pm CST, Monday through Friday excluding all Federal, state and other company holidays.
