Forklift Login Recordings for Management of Assets and Operators
Forklift login recordings are vital for investigating an incident or the clarification of any inquiries by a safety professional. However, not only is the login important, but the logout recording is as well. SIERA.AI’s forklift safety system reports both the forklift login recordings as well as the logout within the telemetry Dashboard. However, it is more than just the forklift login recording and logout, it is also what occurred in between. Let’s take a closer look.
What is a Forklift Login Recording?
A forklift login recording on a SIERA.AI forklift safety system is when the forklift operator either scans in their QR code on their badge or manually enters a PIN number. This triggers the system to record the exact time the forklift operator enters into the forklift safety system. When the forklift operator is done with the shift, the forklift operator can press ‘end shift’ to log out. If the forklift sits idle, the operator is still logged in. However, if the forklift sits idle for a defined period of time, as defined in the telemetry Dashboard, then the operator is logged out. Even if the operator turns off the engine, the operator is technically still logged in until the operator logs out. These scenarios are all tracked in the Dashboard.
As you will see in the picture, the first line Identifies the worksite and the particular asset. It shows who was the operator or ‘user’ on the forklift and what day and time did the individual logged in, and what day and time did the individual log out. For easy tabulation, the Dashboard presents a full duration in hours, minutes and seconds.
An All in One Snap Shot
As you look up a particular asset, you will have all of the information in one location and shown in a quick and easy to read format. You will know:
- The asset type
- Number of inspections – Meaning, you can perform more than one inspection in a shift. You may want to conduct an inspection before beginning work on trailer, or prior to going outside. You can perform as many different type of inspections as your facility requires.
- First Inspection Start Time in date and time format
- First Inspection Response Time which indicates how long it took to complete the inspection such as 1 min 5 sec, 3 min 0 sec and so forth
- Number of Failed inspections is tracked here as well. If it all passes then a zero will appear in its place.
- Number of Near Misses (Objects, Pedestrians) both are tracked and shown separately.
- Number of Low Impacts, Medium Impacts and High Impacts are indicated separately. If it’s zero, a zero will be put into these spaces.
All of the data can be downloaded is a .csv based on the parameters you choose such as date range, asset type, worksite and more.
