We can have cameras\, sensors\, LIDARS\, Radar\, Sonar to provide for Vision in many electromagnetic forms. \nWith all this synthetic data generated\, one can train the machine – filter\, infer\, label and model and train to avoid humans and other objects i.e.\, a Pedestrian Detection system. For material handling safety it’s about detecting humans and objects such as pallets\, boxes etc. All this rich data when analyzed with deep learning algorithms can provide better visibility. That addresses the question “what happened.” \nHowever there is another component of AI i.e.\, about analyzing data from other sources that is collected from machines\, operators\, administrators from through dashboards\, checklists for OSHA compliance and equipment control units. This is telemetry of the past for the present which can provide valuable insights into present and future diagnostics\, predictive and prescriptive analytics. It can help in Compliance. All the Rich operational data\, hours used\, speeds\, routes\, energy levels\, logins of driver\, rejections\, record of operations provides rich meaningful information that with AI analysis can pinpoint gaps in Operations. This session will talk about the meaningful reports and insights for continued operational safety that can be gained.
